At its March meeting the board voted to raise the core limits from $15 million per occurrance to $20 million per occurance effective with the July 1, 2006 renewal. As a result, the $14 million in excess of $1 million layer effectively has become the $19 million in excess of $1 million layer, and the $10 million in excess of $5 million layer has become $15 million in excess of $5 million.

The pooled rates for the Excess Workers' Comp Program were approved in March however, the 2006/2007 rates will also be subject to a loss experience modifier and therefore actual premium cost may be higher or lower depending on the individual member.
