This program is only available to members of the Excess Liability Program. SELF provides this insurance coverage on a group purchase basis to our individual member districts. Because this is an insurance product, our ability to provide this coverage is based on the volume of districts wishing increased liability coverage. Current participation in the OELP program is about 40 percent by ADA of the districts in the SELF pooled program.

If you would like to change your 2008/09 OELP coverage, please complete the change of retention form and fax it to the SELF office at (916) 321-5311 by March 1, 2008.

If you would like to join the OELP program, please complete the form below and submit to the SELF office. Coverage can be added at any time during the year.

As of March 3, 2006 any Joint Powers Authority wishing to enroll as a master member in the program may do so by submitting a JPA Board Resolution and a completed Exhibit "A" Roster of JPA Membership to the SELF office. Master membership allows the JPA to apply for membership, to make notice of withdrawl, to change to the OELP layer participated in and to be billed on behalf of its members.
