| Video Conferencing
Comes to SELF |
In order to communicate more effectively, the SELF Board has started to
use video conferencing in some of its committee meetings. The Board conducted
its first video conference at the Claims and Coverage Committee meeting
on December 5. The decision to invest in this technology was based on
the cost of travel and member requests. Many school districts in California
have access to video conferencing through their respective County Offices
of Education.
The video conferencing equipment is available to members of SELF, educational
agencies in the state and SELF's vendors. The cost to use the system
is $150 per hour. More information
