Congratulations to long-time member Sacramento City Unified School District and its West Campus High School which received the prestigious National Distinguished Title I School Recognition Program Award in January. The award is designed to recognize high poverty schools that demonstrate significant and sustained academic improvement. Congratulations are also in order for Oakland Unified School District and its Monarch Academy , the only other school statewide to receive the award, reported the California Department of Education. |
