SELF Reflections

Launched in December of 2023, the SELF Reflections podcast was created to explore new ways of engaging, educating and supporting our members. Each episode offers a thoughtful conversation and expert insights on real-world issues impacting our membership, crafted in a way to inspire and inform while also reinforcing our commitment to being a trusted resource for the California education and JPA communities.

Meet Self Reflections host Lois Gormley. In this first episode, we introduce ourselves and cover the basics of Schools Excess Liability Fund (SELF). Lois, SELF's Director of Communications & Member Services, has a conversation with CEO Dave George and Board Chair Renee Hendrick about what SELF does, how it operates, and why SELF and similar organizations are relevant today.​
